Well friends, we are officially in the midst of Playoff pandemonium! Nothing can distract us from our Hawks (well, execept perhaps the announcement of a pending Kings to Seattle deal...Suuuuuuper) ok, focus!  Sunday's comeback win over the Redskins was just awesome, I don't have to tell you that; and this week, Seattle fans will pack their bags once more and head to the ATL for a bird on bird battle.  Am I the only one who is nervous? (I was last week as well) Not nervous like I don't believe the Seahawks can win, but nervous, like an excited nervousness.  I can hardly contain it!  Who thought we would be here after our first loss in Arizona?  Well, I did, but I am the eternal optimist, I think there is always a chance until it's mathematically imposssible.....and sometimes even then.  When the Hawks blew a late lead to the Dolphins, I thought, well, now we just have to beat the Bears....you're welcome!  

I am a superstitious fan, a blindly optimistic fan and an emotional fan.  I jump up and down with each touchdown and deflate a little with each turnover or opponent score.  I look forward to each Sunday, I put on my Hawks gear whether or not I am at the game or watching from my living room.  I take Fireball shots with each Seahawks Touchdown....yes, even when we score 58 points- a tradition is a tradition.  And this Sunday will be just like any other- I will put on my Hawks gear and get ready to cheer on our Seahawks, fireball in hand,  with thousands of my fellow fans.  Let the excitement continue Seahawks fans, this team has brought a little bit of magic to a city very deserving, so let's continue to cheer them on! Break out your blue on Friday and Sunday....might as well do it on  Saturday as well (we will save Thursday for Sonics gear), it's playoff time folks and we are on our way. Go Hawks!

PS- I thought I would share a brief interview I did with Macklemore last Friday at the Space Needle.  The platinum recording artist gave his (pretty accurate) prediction of the Redskins outcome and predictions for the rest of the playoffs! Go Hawks!
