Tony Wroten and Rasaan Stephens aka Young Heist were always two kids with big dreams.
As 5th graders playing for Jay Z’s clothing line - Team RocaWear , Tony had no problem telling you he was going to the NBA and that Rasaan was the illest rapper around.
These kids were on another planet when it came to raw talent -Tony became the #1 player in the nation at eleven and Rasaan kept playing hoop on a high level but always stayed close to his craft .
With cousins like Nate Robinson and big homies like Jamal Crawford, both of which played for New York, Tony’s swag as a middle school kid was unparalleled, not only was he the #1 player in the world for his age but he fell in love with Hip Hop!
Rasaan’s father had major record deals and appeared on many soundtracks. Rasaan was traveling from New York to DC, Atlanta, LA and Washington all throughout the year before he was even in kindergarten, becoming groomed to studio sessions, late nights and hard work he developed something that would never leave - a dope flow with incredible word play to match. As nineteen year old Tony Wroten Jr was in the NBA, him and Rasaan would finally manifest their talent into a successful label and brand. Their imprint LOE( loyalty over everything) has become an up and coming empire in urban youth! Sports, music, fashion and film are just the beginning for these young talents.
