No Words...other then...Swag. haha

The wait is over....well it was going to be over this Friday but some folks in Canada happen to get their hands on a leak? I agree with all the reports online, if this isn't the real version...then dam....this is a good ass leak!! hah. Enjoy some good music!
Daft Punk ft. Pharrell off Random Access Memories
On my list of favorite artists in recent history, you will see J. Cole & Miguel. Obviously I love the "Power Trip" record for all the reasons you would expect. Now the video....this takes it somewhere else. Love the mini-movie feel as well as the twist.

We know Cole is a lyricist. I saw this on Necole Bitchie.com where it said, "If you are a J. Cole fan, then you know he’s most-known for his storytelling in his lyrics. MTV points out that in the song, he spits the lyric, “I had a thing for you, I even wrote the song ‘Dreams’ for ya,” and on the actual track, “Dreams” from his 2009 mixtape, he raps about a girl he barely knows and begins to dream up a plot to murder her boyfriend. A few lines of the song include, “I’ma follow in my car, I’ma cut in front of his/ Run him right into the wall, maybe even off the bridge/ I give her a little time, then console her while she crying.”It’s interesting to see how he used lyrics from an old track as inspiration for his new video."

Young Jeezy goes in with the official remix to his single ‘R.I.P.’, one week after releasing the video for the original. He drops a new verse and recruits YG, Kendrick Lamar and Chris Brown for the updated version. Produced by DJ Mustard. I'm not a Bay dude...but this sounds a little to much like it for me. CB sends some shots at Drake on his verse. Hopefully a new project from Jeezy is on the way.

Well, outside of being on the air here and there I'm the Creative Director of KUBE. So everything you hear that's not music I produce, write or come up with randomly at some point in my day. As we all know, or getting to know, Summer Jam 2013 is right around the corner and that means party, half naked people and a lot of music (and green...not money).
So I took to the air waves and produced this teaser getting you ready for the big show but couldn't tip you off on any music, so I used my guys SuperSmash (Teal & Sean). Their a talented producer team from out here workin with my company, Zaki•Rose. Enjoy!
WHO DO YOU WANT TO SEE AT SUMMER JAM 2013??
Here's a video we produced from last years Summer Jam of Wiz Khalifa. One of my favorite videos we've done.
What else can be said that hasn't about Seattle's own Macklemore & Ryan Lewis's global domination!? Much respect to 2 guys (and an awesome team) that have shined a spotlight on the city and garnered attention all over the world, doing it their way. Here is their signing to a major label....not really but some funny ish.

Side Note: Shouts to my fam Owuor. I see you my brotha!
I'm a football fan (Dallas Cowboys through and through) but there is no denying what the Seahawks have done this year and after that ass kicking they gave the 49'ers Sunday night, we felt a remix/anthem was only right. Soooo I brought on some awesome talent to put it together.
Zaki•Rose is a company I started with some amazing partners and one of the many talented individuals we represent is Choklate. She's an R&B/Soul Singer with CRAZY talent. We released a song called "Win" and thought it was perfect for a sports twist. With the help of our new production team "Robot Jox", made up of Ruby and Lukas, they took "Win" to another level. We then brought on TNT, who if you remember killed the last Hawks Anthem Blue & Green.
Allow me to introduce to you, #WIN the Seahawks Anthem Remixed by Robot Jox starring Choklate and TNT. Stand Up 12th man, you deserve it!
