KOMO 4: On Monday night in Seattle, a 64-year-old guy who leads Alcoholics Anonymous meetings was arrested . . . for SELLING DRUGS at his meetings.
His name is Michael Shepard, and the U.S. Attorney's Office and the Seattle police have been investigating him since November. They got an anonymous tip that he was selling prescription drugs like oxycodone before and after his meetings.
He owns the Nomadian Community Resource Center in Seattle. And in January and February, he sold illegal prescription drugs to undercover federal agents posing as AA members.
He's facing up to 20 YEARS in prison and a $1 MILLION fine.
