The Smoking Gun: On Monday, police in Portland, Oregon busted a guy for using his DREADLOCKS to choke his girlfriend. 

Around 2:30 A.M. on Monday, 32-year-old Caleb Grotberg of Portland got into an argument with his girlfriend.  It escalated, things got physical, and he used one of his dreadlocks to CHOKE HER.

She got away and called the cops.

He was arrested for the very UN-hippie-like crimes of kidnapping, assault, menacing, strangulation, and domestic violence.
