Northwest Indiana Times: On Saturday, just before 7:00 P.M., police spotted 23-year-old Timothy Thompson of Valparaiso, Indiana driving over 100 MILES-AN-HOUR, and he wasn't even on the highway. He was weaving in and out of lanes and came close to crashing a few times.
He wouldn't pull over for the cops, but he finally pulled into the parking lot of Nativity of Our Savior Church . . . did a donut . . . and left a huge cloud of black smoke.
Turns out it was Timothy's WEDDING DAY . . . and he was speeding to get to the church on time for his 7:00 P.M. wedding.
We don't know WHY he was so late, but we do know his relatives were FURIOUS. The cops say several of them were SCREAMING at Timothy as he got out of the car.
He was arrested for resisting law enforcement, criminal recklessness, and reckless driving. He also got tickets for speeding and improper passing.
And he did NOT get to be in his wedding before he was taken to jail.
