Alicia Keys, a fourteen-time Grammy®-winning singer, songwriter and producer, announced her upcoming 24-city North American tour in support of her new album GIRL ON FIRE. The “Set The World On Fire Tour” is slated to kick off March 7th in Seattle, WA at the WaMu Theater and will see Keys performing across the U.S. and Canada before coming to a close April 18th in Chicago, IL.

Joining Keys on tour is rising R&B star Miguel who was recently nominated for five Grammy® Awards including Song of the Year, Best R&B Performance and Best Urban Contemporary Album for KALEIDOSCOPE DREAM (ByStorm/RCA). Miguel’s ubiquitous Grammy® nominated single, “Adorn,” which retained the #1 spot for 11 weeks at Urban Mainstream and 10 weeks and counting at Urban Adult Contemporary, recently reached #1 at Rhythmic radio.
“I can feel the energy of this upcoming year building and I couldn’t be more excited to go on tour with the new album and I’m thrilled to have the insanely talented Miguel join me,” said Alicia Keys. “‘Girl On Fire’ has been such an empowering and freeing experience for me as an artist. I can’t wait to discover how the new and familiar faces I see on tour embrace the music and the journey I’ve taken.”
“This tour is definitely going to be on fire! I love Alicia because whether it’s 5 or 500,000 people she’s performing for, she exudes this hypnotic honesty and a transparent artistry,” says Miguel. “I think that’s what this tour will be remembered for the most.”
GIRL ON FIRE speaks to a new era in Keys’ personal and professional life, and opens a door into the multi-platinum selling artist’s evolution. The album features powerful anthems and intimate ballads, led by Keys’ signature soulful voice, with personable and relatable lyrics. Keys collaborated with acclaimed and emerging talent, including longtime song writing partner, Krucial, Grammy® Award-winners Babyface, Maxwell and Bruno Mars, renowned writer and vocalist Jeff Bhasker, critically-acclaimed artists Gary Clarke Jr., and Frank Ocean, as well as emerging talent from the U.K., Emeli Sandé and Jamie XX. The album is colored richly by Keys’ travels including time spent in London and Jamaica, as well as the city where she was born and raised and continues to call home, New York City.
Since her 2001 release of her monumental debut album, songs in A minor, Keys has built an unparalleled repertoire of hits and accomplishments with more than 30 million albums and 25 million singles sold worldwide.
