If you are ready to get out of the house this spring and enjoy some great family fun, then the 2012 Spring Fair in Puyallup is just what you are looking for! The event runs Thursday, April 19th – Sunday, April 22nd this year! It is the 23rd annual fair it’s the Northwest’s biggest celebration of spring, and the seventh largest fair in the state. It will be held at the Puyallup Fairgrounds & Events Center.
A wide range of free activities will be highlighted at the Spring Fair, ranging from Motorsport Mayhem with monster trucks and demolition derbies to baby animals, the Garden Show, 4-H and FFA students showing animals in the NW Jr. Livestock Show, Fiesta Mexicana, Junior Poultry Show, and much more. A great opportunity for the whole family to get involved in the many different activity options, the perfect family outing!
Ticket Prices:
Adults: $9
Students (6-18 years) are $7
Children five years and under are free. Parking is free. Hours are Thursday (4/19) from 2 – 10 pm; Friday and Saturday (4/20-4/21) 10 am – 10 pm; and Sunday (4/22) from 10 am – 8 pm.
** Kids ages 0-18 years can take advantage of BECU Free Kids on Opening Day Thursday, April 19th, with FREE gate admission on Thursday from 2 pm – 10 pm, with a recommended non-perishable food donation for Puyallup Food Bank.
** Military Appreciation Day is Friday, April 21 with free gate admission to active, reserve, retired military and their dependents with valid military ID.

NEW this year is Rock U: The Institute of Rock ‘N’ Roll, and free hands-on exhibit where guests can try out different instruments, or step on megasized piano keys like Tom Hanks in the movie, “Big”. Also new in Auto Alley is the NASCAR Experience, giving guests an opportunity to experience the thrill of a race car in this simulator. There’s even a simulator for kids!
Motorsport Mayhem will bring auto action to the Spring Fair. The Monster Truck Show, produced by WGAS Motorsports will be held on Friday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. Slamfest Demolition Derby, produced by Evergreen Speedway/High Road Promotions, will feature trucks on Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and big cars on Sunday at 2 p.m.. The demo derbies include Figures 8s, the rollover contest, and Slamfest (the last car stand wins). A dazzling fireworks show follows the Saturday Slamfest show.
