This 4th of July, celebrate at Freedom Fest, Joint Base Lewis-McChord annual Independence Day celebration!  The event kicks off at noon on Wednesday, July 4th, 2012 at Cowan & Memorial Stadiums on base and the fireworks will begin at dark.  The general public is invited to this fun, family event which includes live music and entertainment, Classy Chassis Car Show, Carnival rides, a Salute to the Union & Massing of the Colors ceremonies, a climbing wall along with food & vendors.

The general public should access JBLM via the DuPont Gate, I-5 exit 119.  Northbound travelers should stay to the right as they exit the freeway; southbound travelers should turn left as they exit the off ramp & proceed eastbound across the overpass to enter the installation. Proceed to the parking area where shuttle buses will transport visitors to & from the event site.
