Well-Known Washington City Ranks Among The 'Best Places To Live' In America

If you're looking for the home of your dreams, then you need to find the near-perfect location to settle down first. Plenty of bustling cities, small towns, and everything in between could fit the bill, but some stand out for many reasons, whether it's affordable expenses, engaging activities, or amazing weather.

Livability recently revealed its 2024 list of the Top 100 "Best Places to Live" in America. Analysts focused on small to mid-size cities with populations between 75,000 and 500,000 for these rankings. They also considered locations with a median home value of $500,000 or less. Economy, housing, cost of living, safety, transportation, amenities, and other factors were taken into account, as well.

Several cities in Washington State landed in the rankings. The highest-ranking one is Vancouver! Over 197,000 people live in this waterfront city, and the median home value is $424,369. Prospective residents can look forward to breweries, museums, wine-tasting rooms, unique restaurants, and more. The website also had more to say about this Vancouver:

"Located along the Columbia River, Vancouver is the perfect blend of natural beauty and urban amenities. With a friendly community, strong job market and excellent schools, not to mention a low cost of living and plenty of outdoor activities, Vancouver has a high quality of life."

Spokane, Kennewick, and Tacoma were also featured in the roundup.
